Status labels inside the documents are quoted from canon (LIVE / PARTIAL / IN BUILD / flag-off); canon greps (rule 03 V1–V3) run clean on import — SRDAL mentions are retirement references, the legal supersession class.
RESOLVED 2026-08-28: the pending README.md landed as README.md in this
directory. Its proposed placement (docs/design/console/) was considered
and declined by the owner in favour of keeping one frontend-docs directory;
see the README's Placement section for the reasoning. This directory is the
canonical location.
