What changed

• Updated the CI workflow (.github/workflows/ci.yaml) to lint only active Python sources and to ignore archived/virtualenv paths that were causing hundreds of false-positive Flake8 failures.
• Fixed typo in FLAKE8_EXCLUDES: "Arc hived" → "Archived"
• Added backups and apps_tointegrate to exclude list

Next steps

1. Re-run the GitHub Actions CI workflow on the work branch to confirm the new lint scope passes.
2. If additional Python paths need coverage, add them to PYTHON_SOURCE_PATHS in the workflow and keep FLAKE8_EXCLUDES aligned with non-source directories (e.g., archives, venvs).
3. Continue migrating any legacy files into maintained paths so they can be safely linted in the future.
