Compatibility commands remain:

python3 scripts/archive_claude_md.py

They now delegate to the v2 lossless rollover engine and are dry-run unless --apply is supplied.

Do not recreate machine-local .git/hooks as the primary enforcement mechanism. Repository hooks, validation, tests, and manifest rules are the portable controls.
