Console Five-Destination Build-Out — Completion Report (2026-08-29)
Status of this document: terminal record of the console destination arc,
written under the owner's 2026-08-29 approved:merge / approved:commit /
"document all" directive. Every claim below is measured in-session (commands
named), not inherited.
1. What the arc delivered
The 2026-08-28 console consolidation
(PR #868,
merged c43c4b47) reorganized ~151 route files and six competing home pages
onto five destinations — decisions, evidence, loop, governance,
estate — with scaffold stubs. On 2026-08-29 the four stub destinations
gained real page content, each via its own reviewed PR, all merged the same
day:
| PR | Destination | Merge commit | Merged (UTC) | Head branch |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| #876 | Evidence | 650235c4 |
11:35:39Z | feat/console-evidence-destination |
| #874 | Governance | 23ee0c78 |
11:36:44Z | feat/console-governance-destination |
| #873 | Loop | 3e3a9eff |
11:37:06Z | feat/loop-destination-pages |
| #875 | Estate | c4aa5d5f |
14:01:04Z | feat/console-estate-destination |
(decisions shipped with real content — the decisions inbox — inside #868
itself.) The Governance destination (#874) carries four sub-surfaces: status,
audit, claims, onboarding, plus useGovernanceReads.ts read hooks against
registry-status and tenant-economics/costs — 9 files, +879 lines, all
additive, no flags, no service code.
2. Deployed and serving
Merging to main fires Deploy Command Center UI on
miz-oki-command-center-ui/** paths:
- Run
33250550830(11:37Z, after the #876/#874/#873 trio) — SUCCESS → revisionmiz-oki-command-center-ui-00567-gqs(Ready 12:01:44Z). - Run
33256476483(14:01Z, after #875 Estate) — SUCCESS → revisionmiz-oki-command-center-ui-00568-fd5, measuredlatestReady, Ready=True at report time (gcloud run services describe).
So the serving revision carries all five destinations with real content.
Claim level: deployed through each workflow's own gate steps; live probing
of the destination routes was not separately performed in this session (the
UI is behind auth) — the workflow verify steps are the deploy-time evidence.
3. The token adjudication (why nothing was re-merged today)
The owner typed approved:merge + approved:commit while the shared working
tree sat on feat/console-governance-destination (2 commits,
74c1e7c1 + 4d4b393f, authored 2026-08-28 ~21:44–21:52Z). Measured state:
- PR #874's head was this same branch, squash-merged 11:36Z — before the tokens arrived.
- The three-dot diff (
origin/main...HEAD) showed +879 lines "unmerged" — the squash-merge illusion (.claude/memoryprecedent: "Ahead+CONFLICT usually means squash-merged"; here Ahead+CLEAN). The decisive test was per-file two-dot content comparison: all 9 files byte-identical tomain(git diff --quiet origin/main HEAD -- <file>per file, 9/9 IDENTICAL). - Same test on
feat/console-evidence-destination(1 ahead by ancestry): every file it ever changed (three-dot name list, two-dot content check) identical tomain.
Conclusion recorded: both tokens were already satisfied — the merge by
PR #874, the commit by the branch's own landed commits. Re-merging a
squash-merged branch adds nothing and risks the false-conflict trap, so it
was deliberately not done. Both fully-landed branches were then retired
(git push origin --delete, verified: git ls-remote origin
'refs/heads/feat/console-*' now empty); the shared working tree was
returned to main. (feat/loop-destination-pages and
feat/console-estate-destination had already been auto-deleted at merge.)
4. Related open items, unchanged by this arc
- Issue #869
(badge warn/error status tokens) — stays OPEN by the 2026-08-28 recorded
decision: the vendored
_dsbundle is a generated Claude Design export and will not be hand-patched; closure = the next design-system export carries semantic--status-*tokens. - Issue #784 — items 2–4 remain owner-held (GitHub-admin / GCP capabilities); item 1 verified satisfied 2026-08-28 (comment on the issue carries the evidence).
- Frontend Guard reds visible on
feat/console-estate-destinationat 11:46Z were pre-merge iterations of #875; its merged state went green and deployed (run33256476483).
5. Rollback
UI-only arc. Standard Cloud Run traffic rollback:
gcloud run services update-traffic miz-oki-command-center-ui
--to-revisions=miz-oki-command-center-ui-00567-gqs=100 steps back the Estate
landing; 00566-* and earlier predate the destination content. No schema,
flag, or service-code component exists in this arc, so no other rollback leg
is required.
